TheraSistersStL: Healing for the Healers

At Uplift and Connect Counseling, I believe in the power of connection—not just for my clients, but for the healing community as a whole. That’s why I'm proud to share one of my deepest passions: TheraSistersSTL.

Why We Do This Work

Healing work is sacred, but it isn’t always easy or beautiful. Therapists, counselors, bodyworkers, yoga instructors, nutritionists, and healers of all kinds often pour so much into others that they forget to refill their own cups. We know from experience that healers need healing too.

We also know that the work becomes lighter when done together. Rather than operating from a scarcity mindset—feeling like we’re competing for clients or resources—we embrace an abundance mindset. There is enough space for all of us to thrive, to support one another, and to share referrals and resources so both our clients and we as healers are better cared for.

What We've Created

TheraSistersSTL is a community built around connection, collaboration, and compassion. We host gatherings, create spaces for meaningful conversations, and provide opportunities for healers to network, laugh, and recharge. Our tagline says it best: Giggles and Glimmers. Because healing doesn’t always have to be heavy—it can be joyful, silly, and sparkly too.

Join the Community

If you’re a healer in the St. Louis area looking for support, connection, and collaboration, we’d love to welcome you into the TheraSistersStL community. Together, we can build stronger networks of care, lift one another up, and remind ourselves that healing—though sometimes messy—is always worth it.

What Fellow Noms Are Saying!

Katheryn and Amy have been so warm and welcoming from the start of my attendance in Networking Noms. I have felt, and observed them making each therapist be welcomed and seen.

Noms has become such an important space for me as a therapist and new business owner in private practice. When I took the leap to private practice, leaving the agency and group practice world, it was both empowering and lonely. Noms has helped me connect to other therapists not only for networking purposes, but for business support, clinical support and relationship building. It is something I look forward to every month. I can confidently say I've met clinicians who have helped support my business and clinical skills, as well as become friends.

I have been coming to the Networking Noms breakfast meetings at local restaurants for well over a year now. I wholeheartedly believe that I have meet the best selection of therapists/kindred spirits through that process that I have ever sought out in professional settings. Meeting up with everybody combines the fun of trying new restaurants with networking and great engrossing conversation. I have found new ways to collaborate, have given and received many referrals and online reviews, and had many enjoyable mornings once a month. I now have a solid network of referral options as a result. I never miss a meet up if I can help it and I recommend it to other therapists and other healers on a regular basis!

I’ve been coming to Networking Noms on a regular basis since it started and it has grown. It’s a great way for mental health professionals and healers to connect and gives us an opportunity to talk about our experiences in the field.

It’s such an important part of the work that I do, that I will schedule clients around it and it’s added to my calendar as soon as I know the date. The only time I miss is if I’m out of town.

I think as it grows, it continues to be a welcoming place for new people to come in and make connections and use as a resource.
